Understanding Your BillER Now’s Insurance Claims
ER Now will submit two (2) claims to your insurance company for your ER visit.
Your Insurance EOB Your insurance company dictates what your expenses will be based on the charges that they allow and the terms of your plan. They will send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) outlining how they’ve processed the claims. An EOB from your insurance company is not a bill! ER Now’s Bill ER Now will send you a bill based on your in-network insurance benefits. If we identify a problem with the way your insurance company processed a claim, we will appeal their decision for you. Contact Us Our goal is to make sure every insurance claim processes correctly and that you understand your balance (also known as “patient responsibility” or “patient out-of-pocket”).
